1. What Is the Yes or No Wheel?

YESNO

The Yes or No Wheel is a free online spinner that gives you an instant, unbiased answer to any yes-or-no question. Type your question, tap the wheel, and let it land on YES or NO— no more second-guessing, no more “you decide.”

It's a modern, more fun replacement for flipping a coin. Every spin is genuinely random, the odds are 50/50 by default (and fully adjustable), and it works instantly in any browser — no download, no sign-up, no cost. Perfect for the tiny decisions that eat up way too much of your day.

2. Key Features

More than a simple coin toss, the Yes or No Wheel is a full little decision toolkit:

  • Instant 50/50 answers — one tap gives you a fair, random YES or NO.
  • Adjustable odds (weights) so you can make YES more likely than NO, or any split you want.
  • Fully customizable — keep it Yes/No, or add your own options like “Maybe” and “Ask again.”
  • Results history that logs every spin so you can track a streak or a best-of-three.
  • Confetti, sound and themes that make every answer feel like a mini celebration.
  • Save & share your wheel with a link, and go fullscreen for the room to see.

3. How to Use the Yes or No Wheel

Spin the Wheel

Think of your yes-or-no question, then tap the wheel(or press the SPIN button in the middle) to send it spinning. When it slows to a stop, the pointer reveals your answer with a burst of confetti and a sound. That's it — you have your decision in about two seconds.

Adjust the Odds

Want the universe to lean your way? Open the Weights panel to change the odds. Give YES a heavier weight than NO(or the other way around) and the wheel devotes more of its area to that answer. It's still random — you just get to stack the deck.

Add Your Own Options

The wheel doesn't have to be just Yes and No. Open the Inputs panel to add, rename, delete, or reorderoptions — toss in a “Maybe,” a “Definitely,” or an “Ask me later.” The wheel instantly redraws so you can turn a yes/no question into a three- or four-way decision.

Track Your Results

The Resultspanel keeps a running list of every spin. Handy for a best-of-three, settling a “first to two yeses” bet, or just seeing how the wheel has been feeling today. Clear it any time to start fresh.

Save & Share

Happy with your setup? Save the wheel so it's waiting next time, or use the Share card to send it to a friend by link so they can spin the exact same wheel. Tap fullscreen to blow it up for a group, a stream, or the classroom projector.

4. When to Use a Yes or No Wheel

Any time a decision is small enough that overthinking it isn't worth your energy, the wheel is the fastest way out. A few favorite uses:

🍕
Everyday choices

🎯
Games & dares

🪙
Coin-flip upgrade

🧘
Beat overthinking
Stuck in analysis paralysis? Outsource the small stuff and just move on.

5. Is the Yes or No Wheel Really Random?

Yes. Each spin uses your browser's built-in random number generator to pick a landing point, so there's no pattern, no memory of past spins, and no way to predict the next result. With the default setup, YES and NO each fill half the wheel — a true 50/50 toss.

The only thing that changes the odds is you. If you adjust the weights or add extra options, the wheel simply gives each slice a proportional share of the circle — but which slice wins any given spin is still completely random and fair.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Yes or No wheel free?

Yes — it's completely free, runs in your browser, and needs no download or sign-up.

Is the wheel truly random?

It is. Every spin is decided by your browser's random number generator, so results are unbiased and each spin is independent of the last. By default YES and NO are an even 50/50.

Can I make YES more likely than NO?

Absolutely. Open the Weights panel and give one answer a heavier weight. The wheel then devotes more of its area to that option while staying random.

Can I add my own options instead of Yes and No?

Yes. In the Inputspanel you can add, rename, remove, or reorder options — turn it into a Yes / No / Maybe wheel or any custom set of choices you like.

Does it work on phones?

Yep. The wheel is fully responsive and touch-friendly, so it works on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops without installing anything.

Can I save or share my result?

You can. Save your wheel to reuse it later, and use the share card to send a link so a friend can spin the exact same wheel you built.
